Jose is a gay male and a DONA trained birth doula. Jose has always worked with families in some capacity - helping raise his siblings as well assisting in the births of family members. Jose is very spiritual which sparked an interest and love in helping people through their pregnancy and birthing process, ensuring mom and baby are honored, respected, and safe. Jose has a strong desire to extend his doula skills to the LGBTQIA+ community.

Jose is a Spanish-speaking Massachusetts native and has lived in Mass for over 30 years. He has over 9 years in the medical field and is willing to go the extra mile to make sure his patients feel safe and secure.

When not attending births, Jose loves dancing, talking about childbirth and reading book on pregnancy, enhancing his spirituality via meditation, tarot reading, and being kind to people, and spending time with his family.
