What do Doula's Do?

Birthing Gently Maternal Health
Community Doula Program

Serving MassHealth Patients at MassGeneral Brigham Hospitals

The doula I was paired up with was amazing. I really loved her. She helped me make decisions at the hospital and stand up for what I wanted during my treatment.

My doula was fantastic and I would recommend her to anyone. Before the labor she was friendly and in contact as much as possible. Providing comfort and physical therapy as my pregnancy progressed.

Having a doula was so important for consistency being a patient at Brigham and Women’s Hospital being a women of color.

My doula was a great support and helped with my birth plan and kept me at ease for what was to come. She was a great support for me.

My labor was quick and she did not even get a chance to be at my delivery but I would 100% recommend her to anyone! Great Program. Glad to be a participant.
