Aliisa loves caring for others and finds great satisfaction in helping people through challenging times. As a doula, she can support and guide women and families during one of the most important and transformative times in their lives. She is there to be a pillar of support and provides practical assistance, emotional encouragement, and evidence-based information. It's an honor to be part of such a special time in families' lives, and it's a privilege to use her nurturing nature to help them navigate the challenges and joys of childbirth and beyond.
Passionate about providing equitable access to maternal care, Aliisa volunteers her services to support women who would otherwise not have birthing support at Brigham and Women's & Mass General hospitals in partnership with the Birthing Gently Maternal Health Program.
Aliisa is currently working on her Lactation Consultant certification to further expand her knowledge and skills. Aliisa is certified through StillBirthday where birth and bereavement meet, providing families with unbiased emotional and physical support through birth complications or loss.
Aliisa is also a photographer, knitter, Reiki practitioner, and outdoor enthusiast who enjoys cooking for others and scheming her next DIY interior design project. A mother of three, she cherishes time spent with her family, friends, and the little ones she gets to hold.
