Postpartum Doula Profile - Alissa Greenman Rowe PCD(DONA)

Alissa Greenman

I came into the doula profession after years of interest in women's' health care. I started out as a birth doula in order to see birth firsthand and to test myself if it was something I could handle in hopes of someday becoming a midwife. My interest was then piqued into postpartum care. I was trained at the Seattle Midwifery School by DONA instructors and after moving across country I finished my certification and became a certified postpartum doula. I love watching families 'get it', learning how to balance their lives and take care of their babies. I enjoy the process of watching moms bond with their newborns.
