Dena Carmasino, has been a childbirth educator and a practicing doula since 1988. She is the proud mother of two sons. She received much of her early training through BACE (Boston Association of Childbirth Educators) in 1986 and 1987.

She is a certified HypnoBirthing® instructor, and currently offers a variety of childbirth education options, including group and private classes. Her doula certification is through DONA (Doulas of North America). Dena has completed Stepping Stones to Midwifery and Hands of Light Midwifery training. She offers comprehensive homebirth midwifery care.

Dena is an active member of the Massachusetts Midwives Alliance. She has completed a two-year midwifery internship, as well as a short internship at Labor of Love Birth Center in Kingston, Jamaica.
